INTRODUCTION

In these terms and conditions and in the privacy statement set out below, ME Group International plc is referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’.

Below are set out the terms and conditions applicable to use by a customer (referred to as ‘you’, and ‘your’) who uses any of our Revolution laundry/dryer machines (a ‘Revolution laundry machine’). By using a Revolution laundry machine, you will be deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

USE

You will not use a Revolution laundry machine for any unlawful purpose, or (ii) any purposes unconnected with the washing and drying of garments and other fabrics by the Revolution laundry machine.

REFUNDING CUSTOMERS AND LIMITATION ON OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

We are not responsible for any loss or damage of possessions caused while using the Revolution laundry machine. You are solely responsible for the safety and security of your belongings at any time.

In the rare cases of the Revolution laundry machine damaging any of your wash, our maximum liability, and your sole remedy, whether such liability is in contract, negligence or delict, statute or otherwise at law is as follows.

You will be entitled to a refund of the price of the wash. To seek a refund, you may contact us by:

(i) writing to our Customer Service Department, ME Group International plc, Unit 3B Blenheim Road, Epsom KT19 9AP; or

(ii) emailing info@me-group.com; or

(iii) phoning 0800 035 6600.

We will normally issue a full refund on a ‘no-quibble’ basis but reserve the right to ask you to send us evidence to support the claim. This is also to enable us to assess the alleged problems with the wash. 

Where you phone our call centre, we may ask you to write in if we have any difficulty understanding you, so we can make sure the refund is issued correctly.

INDIRECT AND CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES

In no event will we have any liability whatsoever for any indirect or consequential loss incurred by you or anyone for whom you may be acting, howsoever that loss may be caused (including without limitation, our negligence or other breach of duty) and regardless of whether we have or are deemed to have any knowledge of any potential loss.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

None of the above in any way affects our liability for death or personal injury due to our negligence, or any other liability that the law prevents us from limiting or excluding.

Where you deal as a consumer, none of the above affects your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We respect people’s right to privacy, and we comply with our obligations under relevant data protection laws. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Statement of Privacy applies to this website and governs data collection and usage. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using a Revolution laundry machine and this website, we will only use that information in accordance with this Statement of Privacy.

We do not keep it on record in our systems.

Any other information received from you after the use of a Revolution laundry machine for customer service reasons. i.e. name, address, phone number, email, etc. will only be used for the handling of your query and not for any other purpose.
